The Canadian Club has 3 annual functions that include our ladies. The X-Mas party in December, the Sweetheart Dinner and Dance in February and the March Luncheon.
The Sweetheart Dinner and Dance has always been considered the "Social Event" of the season. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the last one, due to the lack of participation. The Sweetheart Dinner and Dance is planned this season for Friday February 21, 2014. Do you plan to attend. We need to know as soon as possible, so that tickets can be available at the January luncheon.
With sufficient response before then to cover the anticipated costs, we go ahead. Please call and let us know that you are planning to attend and how many guests you will bring. We would like to keep this gala event on our schedule, that over the years has been a tradition. Please call..
The Canadian Club Pins that were issued to new members free of charge were designed by past president Doug Beaman. If you would like to have a replacement, or an extra pin, they are availabl;e for only $3.00.
We are always looking ahead for interesting speakers for our club luncheons. If you have any ideas for subjects, or suggestions for speakers, please contact one of the board members.
We trid something new last season, and it has been suggested that we continue. We want you to take a shot at being a resturant critic. Go to one of your favourates, or a new one that you have not visited in the past . Tell us what you think of the service, atmosphere, the quality of the food, the prices and the way you were treated. Let us know if you recommend the establishment, (or not). We await your response..
